First-year students’ welcome event 2026

Take part in the welcome event for first year students in LMU’s Lichthof (atrium) and begin your first winter semester in the company of your fellow students!

On Monday, 12 October 2026, you can find out all about studying at LMU at our fair from 10:30am to 2:30pm. From 4 p.m., LMU President Prof. Matthias Tschöp will give all first-year students a warm welcome. The different faculties, representatives of the student council executive committee (StuVe) and selected professors will introduce themselves. Good music and drinks will be provided.
